Mobile first grocery retailer iOrderFresh secures seed funding

iOrderFresh, a mobile-first food and grocery retailer, has secured an undisclosed amount in seed funding from Best Foodworks Pvt. Ltd.

Supply Chain Analytics and Technologies Pvt. Ltd, which runs iOrderFresh, will use the money to improve technology, upgrade service and acquire more customers, as per a press statement.

As part of the transaction, Alkesh Tandon, founder of BestFoodWorks, will join the board of iOrderFresh.

Tandon served as executive director of Nelson India previously. Delhi-based Acuity Capital served as advisor for the deal.
